People ask me all the time if I always knew I wanted to be a photographer. The short answer is no. In fact, I didn't really "find" photography - photography found me. When I was in high school, I decided to pick up my mom's old camera, copy some pictures from Pinterest, make my sister go outside to pose for me, and the rest is history!

From that day on, I fell in love with capturing a point in time, then being able to have that memory forever. That's what I love about being a photographer. I get to capture these "once in a lifetime" moments in so many people's lives. Whether that's senior year, a proposal, when you get married, your first baby (or second or third or fourth or fifth!), or simply your family as it is right now - life will never be the same.  Let me capture these moments that will too soon become a memory.  But they don't have to stay a memory!  Let's make them something more. Let's make these memories tangible.
